F A S H I O N - / / F E S T I V A L F A S H I O N I N S P I R A T I O N ! !

This week has been so busy with work I've wanted to scream, but... and a big BUT, I received an email from the lovely Molly @ Get Involved. I've been accepted as press for Common People in Southampton! (EEEEKKKKK!)

Sadly, I can only make it to the Sunday due to work commitments, But that's perfectly fine with me, because my main men Duran Duran are the headliners, I think I might die!!!!
The event as a whole has worked out perfect for me, I'll be going with my bestie William, who is happy to drive down, but best of all, I asked a friend of mine (Who studies Fashion in Southampton University) if she was going and it turns out she isn't (That's not the best bit. I really wish she was!) BUT BUT BUT! She's letting me and William stay at her flat for the evening, which saves us around £90 hotel fees ! (Loves ya Jaz <3)

With just 2 weeks to go I need to decide what I need to take for the job at hand. My idea is to capture the festival fashion trends, asking members of the public what they're wearing and why they chose that outfit along with some information about themselves! It's going to be super fun!

This then got me thinking, What on earth am I going to wear?!
I'm naturally cold at all times, so do I need a jumper/shirt? But it's sunny, and I'd like some colour on my skin so should I wear shorts? The struggle is unreal! So I decided to make some little outfit mood boards to inspire me !

Outfit 1 :
Superdry Dungarees
H&M Plain stripe vest (tied)
Vans trainers

Look 2.
New Look ripped jeans.
H&M Black Kimono
Hollister white cami
New look white sandals.

Outfit 3!
Primark shirt (Open and tied)
Levi denim shorts
Black hair bow
Holographic sandals.

Which outfit would you choose?

Is there any advice you'd give on outfits for a festival seeing this is my first one?

xoxo

Just stopping in on day 2/5 of my outfit posts!

Showing you an outfit I previously wore for my friends 21st birthday party (the roaring 20s)
I am in love with this outfit, and so happy I don't have university today, meaning I can look like a real lady around my house for as long as possible.... before I head off to enjoy my 21st birthday present from back in September to go and see You Me At Six. (OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!)

I wore a seperate outfit to see You Me At Six, I'll post that at a later date but for now, here's what I wore;

Coat - New Look.
Dress - Oasis (Debenhams)

Shoes - New Look
Hair Band - Primark.

I bought this coat again when I worked in New Look during the first year of university, got to love 50% off student discount. It's a little broken, the clips to tie it up at the front have all fallen out (Damn my larger chest) but even after 2 years of abuse in all that the great British weather can offer it's still very soft, hasn't lost its colour of even shown any wear or tear! It's my go to coat to keep warm!

My sister is getting married on the 5th of September, and this is the dress my mother wanted us bridesmaids to be wearing. My sister is very alternative, so had different ideas for us... but when I was invited to a 1920s birthday party I just had to have this dress! Running straight into Debenhams to find that the only size left was infact MINE! I just had to buy it.. and for £17 how could I say no!

My shoes were another New Look bargain. Their children's section now go up to a size 7! I have skinny size 6 feet, so my heels are always falling out of the back of the adult size 6s... these fit me like a charm. I'm not the best under the influence either, so a nice chunky heel keeps me on my toes all night and very comfortable the next day!

Whenever I'm in Cardiff town, I head to Primark for a little scout about for some bargains on sale; and that is exactly where I found my wonderful jewelled hair band. It's very heavy, so flops forward a bit when you're trying to sort out your shoes, but for £2 I'm not going to complain. It fit the theme perfectly and even though it fell off my head twice no damage was done! Very happy with it.
To secure it after getting fed up of it falling off, 2 simple bobble pins kept it firm all the way up until 4.30am when the bouncers dropped us home!

I am in love with this outfit, the whole thing! clothing, make up, perfect but easy hair, everything!
I wish I was born in the 1920s! I feel like I'm missing out?

EXCUSE MY WASHING LINE :D

How do you rate my outfit?
xoxo.

Going through my wardrobe today I've realised that it consists of 70% black and 30% pastel blue/yellow/pink.

I've decided to show you guys how I make my typical dark and miserable outfit choices pop with a little bit of colour. We might be in winter, but I will forever be in spring :)
I'm normally a very colourful person, but seeing as I've gained some weight, I find myself clinging to black clothing to make myself seem slimmer.

Oh the joys of writing a dissertation for university...

I wanted to show you my average outfit, not including the pjams I spent the majorty of the day in, but what I venture into the world wearing.

Today, We'll focus on all black, with silver details. You'll have to excuse the colour of my hair, it's actually a lot darker now! My loverboy took the images on auto mode and with the contrast between my clothing and skin... it took the brunt of it.

Today I wore;

Dress - H&M
Boots - Tesco - F&F
Spiked Leather Jacket - New Look.

I love all of these items I'm wearing today, because they all have a little bit of meaning to me.
The dress, I bought in Swansea's H&M while out enjoying myself visiting a friend, and then wore it clubbing the following night with one of the university girls before she went to Canada. A truely amazing night, though I must say I don't remember most of it.
(Which is completely out of character for me, normally I'm the sensible one who ends up looking after everyone)

The leather jacket was the first item I bought using my staff discount at New Look - Cardiff during the first week of Freshers in my first year of university! It turned a few heads during our events!

The shoes, I've recently started baby sitting my 2 year old nephew while his mother is at work every Friday, and he's been a trumendous help with my routine !
He picked out the shoes after his pram broke the ones I was wearing at the time.
I went into Tesco, because I couldn't walk the 10 minutes home with talking shoes!
I was talking out loud to myself, as you do.. 'What shoes should I get?'
I didn't want to spend much, because they were just to get my down the road and on a student budget I shouldn't be buying shoes... next thing I hear is my nephew screaming SHOES! while tolding these beauties. In my size, a size 6, and reduced to £10! The little man has expert style skills.

What do you think of todays outfit?

Hey guys! Sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted!

I've finally finished university now so I am FREEEEEE for the Summer (And even longer because I don't go back to my final year until the last week of September)

I've spent the last 3 days trying to make my first video for YOUTUBE. It'll be about how I got my hair in the images below. Only my first go, so sorry it's not amazing! Slowly I will learn how to make videos like a pro!

Anyways!
This most is about my outfit for today so I will get back to it.

I really really really like H&M lately. It's perfect, bang on trend and soo affordable!
9/10 items I buy will more than often be from their store.

Drew bought a new motorbike yesterday, a little commuter for getting back and forth to work so we thought we'd go for fish and chips at the seaside.. So we drove all the way down to Barry Island (Gavin&Stacey land) to find that all the shops had closed for the evening :(
Which mean't we had to drive 1/4 way back home to Cardiff Bay where we enjoyed a Wetherspoons!
Can't beat a veggie all day brunch, and a J20 because they were out of all sodas....

I got a little distracted by my food and the lovely view of the pier so I completely forgot to take pictures of my outfit outside (Too many people down the Bay, a little shy when there are 100s of people around) So we took these images on my boyfriends camera when we arrived home, it's quite dark so the images are a little bit grainy :(

So, here's my outfit for the day;

HAT - PRIMARK
TOP - H&M
SHORTS - H&M
KIMONO - GEORGE @ ASDA

The weather today was lovely, and a perfect excuse for me to wear my lovely new hat!
It's so light and cute, simplistic yet stunning, and for only £4 from Primark I couldn't resist it!!
Teaming it with my new Kimono from George was a perfect match, I normally don't stop for clothes at ASDA, but their S/S 14 has a few items that are really cute! (And the underwear is to die for!)

I'm pretty self concious about my belly at the moment, I went from a size 6, to a size 12 in 2 and a half years.. Started gyming it but it's not completely toned yet! so these high waisted shorts from H&M are great as they cover the majority of my stomach. but my top is still short enough for it to be cute and summery!

Hope you like the outfit!
and what do you think of my almost lilac hair?

I have a day off today! (WOO HOO)
But I'm spending it writing an essay on how Michael Jackson influenced the media and other celebrities.. Could be worse! I'm also editing my LIFE editorial. I mean thoroughly, editing loose hairs, changing skin tones and playing with background colours. I'm still on image 1 of 7, I started at half 8!! Nice way to spend my day off!

Here's my outfit for today!

Shirt - Superdry
Dress - New Look
Cut out boots - Ebay

I went for a comfortable approach today, I'm wearing my little black dress from New Look, I bought it in the sale for a bargain price of  5 pound! It's a size ten but I could of easily went for the 8.. probably why it's it was in the sale in the end. It's really soft, 100% cotton!
I bought the shirt from work, 50% off! It's great to chuck over a little dress to keep you warm in the evenings. On the plus side, It's a mens medium, so if my partner needs to dress up semi smart he can steal it for the evening. 2-4-1!

The boots are lovely, I bought them on Ebay for £8, My sister in law then got them from everything5pound.com too for less! They we're great for the first few wears but the buckle broke on them while I was putting them on. It's fine, they're still wearable but what would I expect for £8!!

Super busy day today! I went to London to visit Models 1 and Premier with the mothering agency I work with (Future Model Management). We took down 3 models (Libby, Charley and Gareth) All of which Models 1 loved!!
I was also a good citizen and found a man's phone on the train. It was a Samsung Galaxy Note 3!! Worth over £300! Lucky I'm a lovely trust worthy person. He landed in London today from Texas, as I found out from calling his mother at home in the USA! I waited for around 3 hours... and he still didn't get to the station I was at in time.. I handed it into lost properly and he hasn't replied back to me to tell me he's received it :(
A lot of hard work for nothing but oh well.

OUR LADIES ARE WITH MODELS 1!!!

Here's my outfit for the day!!

Superdry - Dress

Primark - Jacket
Shoes - Ebay

I love the dress, it has tiny silver speckles (Also available in copper) all over it, long sleeves that can be rolled up and a low back (Not pictured) I love working at Superdry, not just because EVERYONE is lovely, but due to getting 50% off everything in store! WOO!

The jacket is great, I bought it from Primark for £10, reduced from £25 (I wouldn't of paid 25 for anything in Primark) It's tartan bodied with faux leather sleeves and a soft collar. Very comfortable, and looks great! Could easily be mistaken for something from Topshop or River Island, one of my favourite coats right now during my Black and Red obsession!

Not as bright today as it was yesterday!
I love H&M lately, they've brought out lots of great summer essentials and It's defiantly my first for all shop the last few weeks! Plenty of crop tops, grunge central and loads of cool new prints!

CROP TOP - H&M
PRINTED TROUSERS - H&M
JELLY SHOES - EBAY

I will mention though,  H&M sizes are very weird. The top is a size small and fits fine, I'm a size 10 everywhere.. but need to buy a size 12 in H&M to ensure the fabric fights my thighs.. but then at my waist they are wayyyyy too big for me. I have to pin them to ensure they don't fall down.
I also bought a daisy dress last week, and had to get a size 14 for it to fit.. and even then the buttons gape in the chest area.. but if I bought a size 16 it'd fall off me.

Be wary of sizes!

Hello again guys!
I've been super busy this last week with university, but.. I entered a competition online to win a trip to Las Vegas as a model for Nitro Bags.
I first found Nitro while looking at snowboards from their other brand Nitro Snowboards... One of my fellow snowboarding ladies posted a link onto my Facebook about the competition. So I had to enter.

While I was in Bansko, Bulgaria; Nitro sent me an email telling me I had been selected to the top 20! I was in shock. Out of over 600 entries! YAY GO ME!!

They sent me a bag (And a great bag at that!) *Review to come*
Only problem was.... I wasn't in the UK to collect it for the next 2 weeks, but it was easy enough to pick up from the local depot.

I had to create a few images to send off to Nitro for their Facebook page for the next part of the contest! Fingers crossed!!

Here they are :D

As some of you may know,
I am a keen snowboarder, I've been on the snow for 4 years, but only 3 as a snowboarder... I won a snowboard from Icon X Onboard magazine last year... so wasted my holiday getting used to it... but this year round I was ready for action!

Every year I buy a whole new outfit to fit the trends! So this is what I wore this year;

Roxy - Blue + White Check, with sheep lining to be nice and cosy!
Very water proof, kept clean until my boyfriends friend split hot chocolate all over me!

Billabong - Coral Sallopetes.

I love being bright!

But enough about me...
Here are some other photos from my holiday;

WALAH! See you next year snow!!
