Hey guys!

I've been a right busy bee lately, I've been helping a young lady called Sophie Evans complete her final major project for her Fashion Promotion BA (Hons) degree. Sophie's magazine followed the theme of Extra Terrestrial - incorporating glossy textures, vibrant colours and interesting exteriors.

Here's part one of our 3 part fashion editorial.

THE ARRIVAL.
Model - Bethan White
Stylist & Art Director - Sophie Evans
Photographer - Stephanie Rose Railey

Hey everyone!

I can now show you the full Market Place editorial that was featured in BLUM Magazine :D
Posted some previews back last year (along with a small shopping haul *Sneaky sneaky*) but I can now give you the real deal.
I can't wait to feel it in the flesh :D

I worked with a small, but very capable team;

Model : Zoe Sweeting (BASE MODELS)
Stylist : Lily Mae O'Hagan
Photographer : Stephanie Rose Railey

Hey everyone!

Today, I'm going to show you how easy it is to recycle an old pair of leggings into a brand new Crop top! It's really simple, takes literally a minute and all you need is a pair of leggings and some big scissors.

Lets get going!

First, make sure you have the leggings you want, and a good pair of scissors.
I chose these leggings (H&M - £3.99), I spilt a little bit of bleach on them when I was cleaning, just straight onto the leg. These leggings work perfect because the legs become my arms. Meaning the bleach stain is now hidden in the inside of my sleeve.

Fold the leggings in half, this is to ensure an even cut. Select your plunge. I'm quite heavy chested to say, so I've decided to go for a soft scoop neck, but for a deep plunge 'V'; just make the cut further towars to elastic and cut in a straight line rather than circular.

And then you are all done! Wah - lah!
Now go out and enjour your lovely new crop top :D

If you like the tutorial please pass it on, and leave a comment :) I'd love to see any creations you may of made!

Yesterday morning I was suppose to shoot some promo images for Glass Giants, but found out that Alyn had crashed his car the night before so they were unable to make it.
Sad as it was that he ruined his car and I wasn't able to complete the shoot I'd been up all night cutting tiny pieces of confetti for... I was happy with the breakfast my mother and her partner bought me so it was a still a win!

Luckily, LED BY LIONS were all safe and able to attend for their evening slot! I couldn't be happier with the results myself.
The boys were all friendly, had an even amount of banter and professionalisum.. couldn't ask for a better band to get started with!
They knew exactly what they wanted, and were happy to be posed instead of me trying to capture 'natural' images. It's so hard to capture natural promotional images with bands inside a studio so it was a lot of weight off my sholders I'll tell you that!

I'm happy with the overall images, a few different looks made by simple lighting changes and I finally managed to evenly light all members of the band without having to dodge and burn in post processing. These images are almost straight from camera, only touchig up I needed to do were a few blemish's on skin (When I say a few, I literally mean just two. They all had amazing skin! Making the retoucher inside of me very pleased!) and some dirty marks on the floor.

Here's the result;

What do you think?
Where could I improve and what did you like the most?

Oh hello sweets!
I've had a few crazy days lately in regards to photo shoots.
I've completed two editorials, two car photoshoots and also a fitness photoshoot with my good friend Nok over at http://crystalcosmicchic.blogspot.co.uk/ But we'll talk about that in a later post.

for today! I am going to show you some behind the scenes shots from my MARKET PLACE editorial.
I study in Newport, and will miss it when I graduate next year (Fingers crossed) so I wanted to use it in some of my editorial work to ensure that I have some memories to keep forever involving the place that changed my life.

The editorial was fun and colourful, but also had a bit of a darker side to mellow out to stop the editorial as a whole from hurting your eyes!
The model was Zoe Sweeting @ BASE Models. Zoe recently studied fashion designer at Newport University too, making it a perfect colab.
Stylist was Lily Mae O'Hagan, also another student at the university studying Fashion Promotion.

All three of us were linked to the location which makes it very personal for all of us!
and to round it all off BlÅ«m Magazine have decided to include it within their March issue!

So keep an eye out for that aswell!

Here's some sneaky peaks!

One of the images from the editorial.

I cannot wait to show you the whole thing in print, I love seeing my work anywhere other than a computer screen so when Blum said they'd print it I was over the moon!

Additionally, I had a little wait for my next bus back to Cardiff, so I did the tinyst ammount of shopping but enough to make me happy!

My beautiful leather jacket from Primark, I find it makes my blue eyes really pop. It's faux leather, but doesn't feel as cold so I can wear it during the winer months too. The fit is slightly cropped but goes perfectly with my high waisted jeans. and for only £10, I really cannot complain!

I then went on to buy some lovely lady items! Primark had a sale on their panties, and I still stopped myself going over board!
The matching bra and pant sets (White and Black) were only £4 to begin with, but were discounted to £2 ! I couldn't leave them for £2 a set! I always hear people complain about Primark Bra's, but I find that Primark, and also ASDA bra's are the only ones that are comfortable with in! I've had plenty of their bra's for 1-2 years now and never had a problem. for £2 I wouldn't mind if I did!

The two seperate pants were £1 each, at normal price. Couldn't go wrong! I normally like to have matching pants, but because I bought black and white sets, every colour will match with them.
A win win!

A brilliant photoshoot that I'm very proud of and some new delicates! Who can complain!

xoxo.

F A S H I O N - / / H I D D E N F A S H I O N S H O E S !

Hey Guys!

I was just brosing through a few blogs I found on Twitter, and I came across a post about www.HIDDENFASHION.com.  I thought I'd give it a quick look around because; well hey, it's better than writing my dissertation or cleaning my room which I should be doing really...

After scrolling through pages and pages and pages of clothes, I naughty added 4 items to my shopping cart, and before you know it, I added another 4, and another 4. Sadly due to Christmas and Clothes Show Live tomorrow I couldn't buy them all... So I just stuck to the original 4, and left the other 8 for safe keeping!

I'll do a bigger post soon about all the items I bought from Hidden Fashion.com, but I just really really really wanted to show you these beauties!

Look how beautiful and shiny and pink they are! They're just perfect for my sparkly personality.
Even though I live in Wales, and we have the worst weather almost alllllll year around, I couldn't help myself when these beauts were only £5!!
(Like PRETTY much every thing at www.Hiddenfashion.com)
Even when it rains, I have some cute waterproof motorbike socks that may come in handy!

Most items are £5 or Less, with the odd few at £7.99. Nothing is over £10 on the entire site!

The heel is super wide, and the stitching is very, very sturdy! I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to the art of walking in heels so I wanted something that would be easy to walk in and take care my poorly, beaten up, skateboarding ankles. I worn these around the house for about an hour annoying my boyfriend and mother in law saying over and over again 'Aren't they lush, I love them'

Think they actually might be my favourite shoes ever! and for £5 why didn't I ever get them before!

These are going to be my hint of wonderful less to my OOTD for tomorrow while I'm off photographing at Clothes Show Live as Press :)
A friend of mine, (Maya Mackay @ Models 1) is modelling at the designer catwalk, after being in London/Milan forever! So it'll be lovely to catch up with her too!

What do you think of www.hiddenfashion.com?

and what are your favourite pair of shoes?

XOXO

I had to create a small models video today to send out and keep in some records for future reference,
but in between these 2 videos I thought I'd get some cheeky images for my up and coming university project.

I only took 6 images altogether today, and I think these 3 are pretty decent myself!

This is my third test with the PRYZM and I am pretty damn happy with it!
Best £3 spend of my life!

What do you think?
