I have a day off today! (WOO HOO)
But I'm spending it writing an essay on how Michael Jackson influenced the media and other celebrities.. Could be worse! I'm also editing my LIFE editorial. I mean thoroughly, editing loose hairs, changing skin tones and playing with background colours. I'm still on image 1 of 7, I started at half 8!! Nice way to spend my day off!

Here's my outfit for today!

Shirt - Superdry
Dress - New Look
Cut out boots - Ebay

I went for a comfortable approach today, I'm wearing my little black dress from New Look, I bought it in the sale for a bargain price of  5 pound! It's a size ten but I could of easily went for the 8.. probably why it's it was in the sale in the end. It's really soft, 100% cotton!
I bought the shirt from work, 50% off! It's great to chuck over a little dress to keep you warm in the evenings. On the plus side, It's a mens medium, so if my partner needs to dress up semi smart he can steal it for the evening. 2-4-1!

The boots are lovely, I bought them on Ebay for £8, My sister in law then got them from everything5pound.com too for less! They we're great for the first few wears but the buckle broke on them while I was putting them on. It's fine, they're still wearable but what would I expect for £8!!

ALSO! Please nominate me for Company Magazines #Style Blogger Award!
It's simple, just enter my blog (www.blondedaisychains.blogspot.co.uk) as the Best Personal Style Newcomer :D

P H O T O G R A P H Y - / / L I F E - P A R T I

Hey guys,
I'm currently starting a new project called 'LIFE' I'll do a complete write up about it at a later date (Once I've added it to my work book for Uni.)
Here's part one of my currently project.

Models are my beautiful niece India Sutton, and my boyfriends, friend's daughter Eryn Green!

Eryn's skin is so amazing it looks like I have air brushed her, but I honestly haven't! (I like to keep children natural!)

The girls are wearing make up from a Hello Kitty make up kit which I bought at TK Maxx, they have a small amount of blue eye shadow on, and a cherry tinted lip gloss.

Hope you like them!

O U T F I T - / / N I T R O B A G S

Hello again guys!
I've been super busy this last week with university, but.. I entered a competition online to win a trip to Las Vegas as a model for Nitro Bags.
I first found Nitro while looking at snowboards from their other brand Nitro Snowboards... One of my fellow snowboarding ladies posted a link onto my Facebook about the competition. So I had to enter.

While I was in Bansko, Bulgaria; Nitro sent me an email telling me I had been selected to the top 20! I was in shock. Out of over 600 entries! YAY GO ME!!

They sent me a bag (And a great bag at that!) *Review to come*
Only problem was.... I wasn't in the UK to collect it for the next 2 weeks, but it was easy enough to pick up from the local depot.

I had to create a few images to send off to Nitro for their Facebook page for the next part of the contest! Fingers crossed!!

Here they are :D

Bag - Nitro Bags
Snowboard Jacket - Vans

As I spoke about previously, I was lucky enough to be a part of the Sebastian Professional team backstage at London Fashion Week!

I needed an outfit that said 'Hey, I'm a cool photographer!' but mello enough to work with being backstage and comfortable enough to wear all day!
(I was away from home for 22 hours. Can take the girl out of Wales, but can't take the Wales out of the girl... I missed home and my Pjams!)

Here's what I wore.

River Island Two Toned Jumpsuit - £45
River Island Pale Pink Chunky Buckle Boots - £25 (SALE)
and my big bargain!
Sparkle and Fade Dusty Pink Boyfriend Coat - £26
(reduced from £110 to 60, and then £30 with 20% off)

P H O T O G R A P H Y - / / DREAMS I

For my latest University Project I have to create a book of images with a wide open brief. I decided to make my brief based on nightmares and dreams.
I was lucky enough to be given the chance to photograph in Cardiff Castle, I was allowed every room I wanted and the staff were wonderful!!

For my first test shoot, I used my 7 year old niece India as a model. She's constantly telling me how she wants to b a grown up and have lots of make up, a phone, ipad and every other thing a 7 year old shouldn't want. I remember being 7 and making dens in the local woods, tents in the living room, paper mashe-ing the living room table haha.

So I wanted to create a shoot that portrayed my niece as a miserable adult but still linking childlike factors. Including teddy bears, fairy lights, flower crowns and cupcakes.

More to come;

O U T F I T - / / LAVISH ALICE

LAVISH ALICE

Evening!
I spent a good few days searching the internet for a floral number to wear to Clothes Shoe Live this year. At first I searched for separate floral blazers with matching trousers, but as a student I don't have £80 to spend on a pair from Topshop/Zara/Miss Selfridge. So I hit the good old Ebay. A lot of the stuff going on there was hitting the £50 mark as a set, or £20 each on their own... This is when I found the above outfit. A 2 piece, jumper with matching cigarette trousers, (Which fit me perfect might I add! I'm a half size so when I got these in a 10 I was very impressed!)

The item was Brand New with Tags from the store Lavish Alice (Now available at BANK FASHION)The outfit itself is sold seperately online, costing £78 when bought together.. I won these goodies for £27.50 including P&P, receiving them two days later! Very happy woman with this!

The material is very thin, It wouldn't keep you warm on a chilly British evening, but they are also very soft and comfortable, which makes up for it in my eyes, very easy to chuck a smart black coat over the top of and be happy with it. The two pieces together are a bit of an eye sore due to the bright pattern... but can be split up using different accessories such as a big belt, chunky gold necklace and transparent clutch...(My ebay wishlist right now)
